King of Choreo - Adam Anthony

I’m excited to introduce Adam Anthony, the person who truly inspired me to dance. Adam’s passion and energy are contagious, and his belief that anyone can dance—regardless of experience—motivated me to keep coming to the studio. I’m grateful to share his story with you as part of our Million Dance Reasons movement!

Adam Anthony, known as King of Choreo among his friends, is a Florida native who grew up in a musical Puerto Rican household. His passion for dance was sparked in college after taking a few classes, but it wasn't until later in life that he fully embraced it. Combining his fitness expertise with his love for dance, Adam opened The Royal Peacock Studio—a welcoming space where everyone, regardless of experience, can enjoy the freedom of movement without judgment.

A Passion Ignited

Adam’s introduction to dance came through a friend's invitation to a beginner jazz class in college. That moment sparked a passion that grew over time, and when he moved to California, he continued taking adult dance classes. Adam recalls how quickly he became addicted to the feeling of freedom and joy that dancing brought him, despite the frustration of wanting to get better.

The Transformative Power of Dance

Dance has transformed Adam’s life in profound ways. Physically, it keeps him fit; mentally, it sharpens his focus and provides relief from negative thoughts. Emotionally, dance offers Adam an escape and a space for joy. The most rewarding part of his journey has been opening his own studio, where he shares his love for dance with others. His advice for those who are unsure about starting to dance? "Grab a friend and take the first class you find!"

The Royal Peacock Studio: A Dance Community

Today, Adam’s Royal Peacock Studio stands as a testament to his dedication to creating an inclusive and empowering environment where everyone can find joy in dance. Through his story, Adam continues to inspire others to follow their passion and experience the transformative power of dance.
